Office of Multicultural Affairs: An office dedicated to the incorporation of diversity and multiculturalism within all aspects of the Trinity College community.

P.R.I.D.E: An on-campus organization that aims to “increase awareness and acceptance of difference amongst members in the student body” through upperclassmen support for incoming students of diverse backgrounds.

Counseling and Wellness Center: A free, on-campus safe space to voice mental health and wellness concerns with a professional counselor.

Office of Student and Community Life: An office equipped to help guide students to the appropriate resources and services including the following:

  • Short-Term Emergency Loan Program

My Brother’s Keeper Alliance Hartford: An initiative that aims to increase opportunities for boys and young men of color.

Open Communities Alliance: A Connecticut-based, urban-suburban interracial coalition working through a civil-rights approach to promote access to opportunity for all people.

YWCA Hartford: A Hartford-based organization with multiple types of programming that work to combat racism and empower women.

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People: “The vision of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race.”

National Association of Asian American Professionals: A non-profit network for Asian American individuals that includes a job board and other career-related resources.

Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement: A network dedicated to the career advancement of Latinx individuals with an extensive job board.

UndocuBlack Network: A network dedicated to the empowerment and advancement of undocumented black individuals.

Professional Diversity Network: A larger network that hosts multiple job boards (such as Asian Career Network, iHispano, and Black Career Network) and an extensive list of supporting companies.

Jopwell: A grid-style job search board tailored to Black, Latinx, and Native American job-seekers.

POCIT: A job search engine for people of color looking for employment in the field of Technology.

The Black Collegian’s: Directory of Diversity Employers: A directory of employers known for committing to the mission of diversity.

GoldenSea’s 50 Great Employers for Asian Americans: A list of employers that have actively recruited and promoted Asian-Americans.

Equal Opportunity Publications: A website with a job board and information about career expos dedicated to the inclusion of diverse identities such as women, people of color, and people with disabilities.

GAPS Collective’s Mentorship Program from  Ph.D. Applicants in Political Science: The Graduate Anti-Racist Political Science (GAPS) Collective invites Ph.D. applicants in Political Science to apply to its mentorship program. The program specifically aims to connect each applicant with a Ph.D. student or graduate in Political Science in their field of interest. Mentors will guide mentees on school selection, application materials, and the general application process. Space is limited so we encourage interested participants to apply now. AEA Summer and Scholarship Programs: Since 1974, the AEA Summer Training Program and Scholarship Program have increased diversity in the field of economics by preparing talented undergraduates for doctoral programs in economics and related disciplines.

The HBCU Career Center: a platform for diverse students and alumni that is a great resources for Black students interested in connecting with thousands of employers, resources to support their job search, and learning about the possibility of HBCUs for grad school.
