BIPOC Connect

2023 BIPOC Connect partners current juniors and seniors who identify as Black, Indigenous & People of Color (BIPOC) with Trinity College alumni who identify as BIPOC, for a 4-week industry-based mentorship program. Mentees will be matched with an alumnus/a based on career goals, professional interests and skills, and desired location.

What is BIPOC Connect?

BIPOC Connect partners Trinity College students of color with Trinity College alumni of color for a 4-week industry-based mentorship program.

For whom is the BIPOC Connect program created?

Typically, a program like this would be reserved for seniors only. But BIPOC Connect is open to both juniors and seniors. As a junior, you’d be able to take advantage of this program this academic year and in your final year.

What can one expect while participating in BIPOC Connect?

Real-time, industry-based mentoring insight and expertise from a Trinity College alumnus of color who shares your interests and experiences as a person of color both academically and professionally.

What are the requirements of BIPOC Connect?

Four (4) one-hour phone or virtual conversations with a Trinity College alumnus of color, allowing you to explore multiple facets of your career considerations through guided exercises and dialogues.

What are the benefits of BIPOC Connect?

Learn from someone who is passionate about your success! Trinity College alums can provide you with valuable information concerning the current state of hiring within your desired industry and strategies for networking, interviewing, finding open positions, and positioning yourself for future hiring.

What are the enrollment and program dates for 2023?

Open enrollment is happening now and will continue through Sunday, December 18th for our Spring 2023 cohort. The program will commence on February 6, 2023 and conclude on March 13, 2023.
