The Trinity F1RST (First Generation*) Orientation-NEXT Program is a highly engaging and interactive program designed to prepare new, first-generation students — the first in their family to complete a four-year college degree — for a successful transition to college.

F1RST Scholars will participate in energizing conversations and activities, practicing skills critical for achieving success in a collegiate setting: self-advocacy, eco-system development, academic success, and design thinking. Students will complete the experience having produced an individualized plan for a dynamic first semester at Trinity. Upper-year, first-generation Trinity students will serve as peer mentors and share their deep knowledge and experiences within the Trinity community.

Registration: The application for all programs is available in your Starting Out Portal.
